Paul Massimillo is the President and lead investigator Long Island Investigations, Inc. His extensive and unique experience in the investigative field, sets him apart from all others and his knowledge sets him apart from others in the world of private investigators and investigations. His tens of thousands of hours of surveillance is unmatched experience and gives him the ability to instruct and teach others in his field.

Paul served on the NYPD for over twenty tears. Paul's police career began on the streets of New York City. His outstanding performance led Paul to be chosen to serve the Organized Crime Control Bureau, Narcotics Division, where he played a key role in the "war on crack" of the 1980's. As a result of Paul's brilliant performance there, he was promoted to the rank of Detective and after only a few years on the department.

Soon after, he was chosen for assignment to the NYPD's elite Organized Crime Investigation Division, a Fedral task force made up of NYPD Detectives, FBI Agents, DEA Agents and ATF Agents as well as New York State Troopers and IRS Agents. Serving as lead case officer, his cases brought him around the country. Using state of the art electronic surveillance techniques and equipment along with his investigative skills, he was responsible for more wire tap cases than any of his fellow law enforcement officers. He pioneered investigating the so called "impossible cloned phone" wire tap cases and was the first law enforcement officer to successfully undertake a fax intercept case and directly assisted in the writing of the minimization law for this type of intercept. His success in those areas of investigations and others, led to the implementation and use of his investigative strategies by other agencies and prosecutors offices. He has been a guest speaker at law enforcement and prosecution seminars in New York and New Jersey where he has shared his knowledge and strategy with fellow Private Investigators, law enforcement agents and local prosecutors.

In 1992, Paul was trained by the United States Secret Service and was chosen to work with them during the Democratic National Convention in New York City. He was assigned to protect dignitaries including United States Senators and Governors. The Governor of Arkansas, the now former Presient Bill Clinton was one of Paul's assignments. Paul's training and experience further includes Surveillance Techniques and Detection, Dignitary Protection, Counter Terrorist, Insurance Fraud, Counter Surveillance, Narcotics and Organized Crime.

Paul has had the opportunity that few law enforcement agents expereince. That is, he has testified extensively in State and Federal courts throughout the United States and has been involved in conducting surveillance and enforcement in several states, both an the on the local and federal level. Paul has spent several thousands of hours in the field, conducting surveillance with the most sophisticated equipment available. He has mastered the art of conducting surveillance through his strategies and extensive experience.

After more than 20 years, Paul retired from the NYPD. With his retirement from law enforcement service, he brought his skills and "know how" to the civilian world with the formation of his agency, Long Island Investigations, Inc., a private investigator based on Long Island and serving Nassau County and Suffolk County. Paul is now offering his extensive investigative knowledge and experience to the public in a professional and cost-effective manner for the people of New York City, Nassau County and Suffolk County.
